Famous for his fights out on the ice and his championship-clinching goal in the 1997 Stanley Cup Finals, former Detroit Red Wings grinder and four-time Cup champion Darren McCarty will have a night of comedy set in the Upper Peninsula this upcoming fall.

Via their Instagram story post, Marquette’s Ore Dock Brewery announced that McCarty, along with fellow comedian Dustin Cole, is scheduled to host McCarty’s show live from the brewery in late October.

Possible stories that will be told from ‘D-Mac’ may include his famous fights with players such as former players Claude Lemieux and Marty McSorley, playing stories, and overall stories on the state of Michigan itself.

As seen in the flyer above, McCarty’s show will be live on Sunday, October 24, starting at 7 pm. The show is everyone 21 years old and up with tickets available for $15 in advance, $20 at the door on the day of.

The show will also feature a meet-and-greet with McCarty immediately afterwards as well.
