The former Lion wide receiver has found a new home in Jacksonville. The Jaguars got him at a good price and will provide the future number one pick, Trevor Lawrence with a veteran wide receiver. Jones isn’t the only Lion to sign with the Jaguars. Kick returner, Jamal Agnew signed with the Jaguars yesterday.

Jones was a consistent piece of the Lions over the last five seasons. Jones caught for 4,296 yards on 289 receptions for 36 touchdowns in 69 games. Jones was always receiver one or two during his time with the Lions. The writing has been on the wall for a while for Jones. When Jones was asked about free agency back in December Jones said “we’ll see how it plays out, but did say he’s excited for free agency.” Well it has played out and Jones is heading to Jacksonville.

Now all the attention is on Kenny Golladay.
