According to a source, XFL Commissioner Oliver Luck recently brought up the idea of signing Colin Kaepernick as a public relations stunt. I’m told Luck was even in touch with a rep to confirm Kaepernick would no longer kneel for the national anthem.

The source indicated to me that Vince McMahon himself shot the idea down. The NFL is holding a private workout for Kaepernick

this Saturday.

In addition, I’m told Luck and McMahon are already butting heads on certain decisions within the organization.

The XFL season begins on February 8th, 2020.
