A lawsuit has been filed against Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook, citing assault and giving her a concussion in an incident that reportedly took place in November of 2020.

One of the Instagram conversation’s that took place between Cook and the ex-girlfriend was used in the lawsuit.

Cook’s attorney though, is claiming that he was the one who is the victim of domestic violence and was held against his will in his apartment that night with a firearm.

This was a statement from Cook’s attorney, David Valentini.

The Vikings have been made aware of the situation, as has the NFL. As of press time, Cook had not been suspended or released, yet.

The photo of the woman shows that she had been assaulted, but Cook’s attorney is claiming that Cook was the one who was assaulted and used self defense.

It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out in the end, especially since Cook was not arrested and police weren’t involved in this incident.
