Eric Jokisch was taken in the 11th round of the 2010 draft by the Chicago Cubs that culminated into his Major League debut in 2014. He posted a 1.88 ERA with 10 Ks in 14 innings, yet never saw the Show again. In the minors, he pitched 570 2/3 innings at the AAA level to a 4.02 ERA. In the Majors, his FIP was 5.30, far less encouraging than the ERA would lead on.

At now 31 years of age, he has been in Korea since after the 2018 season. During this time, he’s posted a 2.66 ERA over 335 1/3 innings of work, winning the ERA title for the league in 2020.

He’s hopeful for a Major League return and is apparently on the radar of multiple clubs.
