The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Los Angeles Rams 37-20 on Sunday night for the seventh straight win to improve to 9-2 on the season.
The Eagles were led by star RB Saquon Barkley who had a franchise record 255 yards rushing on 26 carries, which included touchdown runs of 70 and 72 yards.
The Eagles rushing attack racked up a total of 314 yards and completely overpowered the Rams defense.
QB Jalen Hurts had another outstanding performance directing the offense. He completed 15 of 22 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown and ran for 39 yards on 12 carries.
WR A.J. Brown led the Eagles receiving attack with six 6 catches for 109 yards and a touchdown.
The Eagles defense once again put up another impressive performance and it was led by the front seven who put constant pressure on Rams QB Matthew Stafford.
DT Jalen Carter was a disruptive force all night. The Eagles total 5 sacks on the Rams. Milton Williams led the way with 2. Nakobe Dean, Josh Sweat and Brandon Graham each had one.
The Eagles secondary had their toughest test of the season against Rams WRs Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua and stood up to the challenge.
The Eagles are a well oiled machine and they are playing incredible football. They are getting stronger every week and are a force to be reckoned with.
The Eagles are 9-2, with a 2.5-game lead over the Washington Commanders in the NFC East and are a game behind the 10-1 Detroit Lions for the top seed in the conference.
Their next opponent is the Baltimore Ravens on the road Sunday at 4:25 pm.
