The Philadelphia Eagles place TE Dallas Goedert (knee) on IR, as per Mike Garafolo. He will have to miss the next four games before being eligible to return Week 18 against the New York Giants on January 5.
Goedert suffered the knee injury in the 24-19 win over the Baltimore Ravens. He had three catches for 35 yards and one touchdown in the game.
The Eagles have moved TE E.J. Jenkins to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. He has played in three games for the team this, all on special teams.
Grant Calcaterra will start at TE with C.J. Uzomah and Jenkins backing him up. Calcaterra has 13 receptions for 160 yards this season.
For the season Goedert has 38 catches for 441 yards and two touchdowns.
