The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that they have activated Se afety Sydney Brown from the PUP list to the 53-man roster.
Brown tore his ACL running down the field to cover a punt in the first quarter of the Week 18 game at the New York Giants.
Brown has been practicing the last two weeks, after the Eagles opened his 21-day practice window.
Brown is currently behind full-time starters Reed Blankenship and C.J. Gardner-Johnson on the depth chart at Safety.
As a rookie third-round pick last year, Brown played in 14 games and started 6. He had 45 tackles, 3 pass breakups, a forced fumble and an interception.
Brown had a 99-yard pick-6 against the Arizona Cardinals the week before his season ending injury.
The Eagles have also elevated Tackle Jack Driscoll. With starting Left Tackle Jordan Mailata on injured reserve, Fred Johnson is set to take his place in the starting lineup.
