We have all heard Vince McMahon utter those famous two words,

“YOU’RE FIRED!!!”

That phrase became iconic to the Mr. McMahon character on screen, but as often art does imitate life, the character Mr. McMahon was a carbon copy of the Owner/CEO of the WWE Vince McMahon who showed the same disregard to former employees, dispatching them in similar fashion. That is if you believe the numerous firsthand accounts of former employees that are found all over the internet. However in the case of former XFL Commissioner Oliver Luck, it may not be this simple.

According to a recently released document, there was a guarantee placed into Oliver Luck’s contract that Vince McMahon would “irrevocably and unconditionally” pay Luck via the XFL’s parent company, Alpha Entertainment. The document goes on to state that the payment would be absolute and unconditional. Alpha Entertainment filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection in April. One day prior to filing bankruptcy, McMahon fired Oliver Luck for allegedly breach of contract and neglecting his duties as XFL Commissioner.

The document, originally posted by Darren Heitner on Twitter, is listed below.
