Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk has reported that there maybe a reunion brewing between the Dallas Cowboys and current free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant.

Smith has said in his article that Cowboys executive Stephen Jones received texts from Bryant that he’s hinting at wanting to return to the Cowboys.

“We have nothing but great respect for Dez and what he accomplished here,” Jones said to the Fort Worth Star Telegram. “Certainly, as we look forward into the future we look at all opportunities and all potential players that could maybe help us out.”

Bryant was mentioned throughout social media as he was seen in a duo of workout videos of him catching passes and running a couple routes.

The 31-year-old has not played a down in an NFL game since 2017. He was suppose to play for the New Orleans Saints in the 2018 season, but tore his Achilles’ tendon during practice.
