After another loss on Sunday, the Lions find themselves still winless for the 2021 season. The story for another week is the ineptitude of the offense and more specifically, Jared Goff. Goff was a part of the Matthew Stafford trade in the offseason and many looked at the move as a fresh start for Goff. Well, he may need a new home soon because Dan Campbell was not happy with his play yet again, and rightfully so.

Speaking to reporters Dan Campbell said, ” needs to step up more than he has” about Goff.

The Detroit Lions haven’t scored more than 17 points since week 1 and most of those points came in garbage time. We are starting to really see why McVay moved on from Goff and why he felt he couldn’t win the important games with him.

While Goff doesn’t have the best supporting cast on offense he has consistently missed open guys and now Campbell just put more pressure on the QB.

With these comments, Goff better turn it around or he could be riding the bench later on in the year and it could come as soon as next week against the Rams in Los Angeles. How embarrassing would it be for you to get benched against the guy that told the world that you weren’t good enough to win big with? That would be the world’s worst breakup for Goff but at least it would give us must-see TV.
