In a somewhat surprising, but also not surprising, move the Detroit Lions have parted ways with their 2017 2nd round draft pick Jalen “Teez” Tabor.

Tabor ran a very disappointing 40 time during his pre-draft process, which lead to him plummeting down draft boards. Bob Quinn took a chance on him anyway and decided to part ways with his mistake today.
Tabor did not fit Matt Patricia’s man-to-man coverage scheme as evidenced by the perfect passer rating allowed when targeted last season.
Tabor has also had trouble staying healthy in his career, as he missed time last season as well as most of this year’s training camp.
The highlight of Teez’s career was when he was named defensive player of the year in one of my Madden franchise seasons last year. Unfortunately, Tabor was not able to capture that magic in the real world.
