DDT “D-Oh Grand Prix” tournament opening day results from Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 at Korakuen Hall on 11/22/20 live WRESTLE UNIVERSE:

Hideki Okatani and Mizuki Watase beat Keigo Nakamura and Yukio Naya when Watase pinned Nakamura after a hurricanrana pin attempt reversal in 5:54.


Yukio Sakaguchi and Saki Akai won a 4-Way Tag Team Match over Antonio Honda and Danshoku Dino… Mad Paulie and Soma Takao… Kazuki Hirata and Toru Owashi when Sakaguchi submitted Honda to a sleeper hold in 7:23.

The opening round of the tournament matches are next. It’s two points for each victory. The winner of the tournament gets a KO-D Openweight Title Match on 2/14/21.

Akito pinned MAO with the Octopus Dream in 7:08 of an A Block Match.

HARASHIMA pinned Chris Brookes after the Somato running knee strike in 11:13 of an A Block Match.

Daisuke Sasaki beat Konosuke Takeshita by face lock submission in an A Block Match in 13:45.

Makoto Oishi beat Shunma Katsumata by Fujiyama knee lock submission in a B Block Match in 7:39.

Yuki Ueno pinned Kazusada Higuchi with WR in a B Block Match in 11:49.

Tetsuya Endo pinned Jun Akiyama after a Shooting Star Press in a B Block Match in 14:00. This was Akiyama’s first loss in DDT.
