With the latest COVID-19 variant running rampant across the United States, the NFL has been forced to reschedule games as many teams have had massive outbreaks preventing more than half of the players on their roster being available to play.

One team that has been surprisingly lucky this far is the Dallas Cowboys, because as of now, there have been no additional players added to NFL Covid-19 protocol as Dallas heads into Week 17 to play the Arizona Cardinals.

Rumors were swirling that maybe Dak Prescott may have contracted an illness, but those rumors have apparently been debunked. If Prescott was unable to play for whatever reason, odds are backup quarterback Cooper Rush would have taken his spot. Rush had a good outing against the Washington Football Team last weekend late in the game and has proven himself as a worthy backup to Prescott.
