Boston Celtics

#CUsRise&Shine🌄

The Boston Celtics have thrown shade onto the Phoenix Suns after a WILD game with a final score of 116-109 in overtime play! Was I getting worried there a for hot sec. First of all, this game was embarrassing to watch from the beginning as the Celtics could barely put up any points in the first quarter let alone the first half. The game really started to come alive in the fourth quarter and was extended to overtime with a Marcus Morris game tying three pointer from a swift pass by Kyrie Irving with double man coverage.

Some things to note though, this Celtics team should have been playing like they did in the last quarter this entire road trip. Now, the Celtics might be able to save themselves come the next two games against the Utah Jazz, where Gordon Hayward makes his way to his previous team and then with a final stop at in Portland to face the Trailblazers.

There was an absurd amount of opportunities to make corner threes with plenty of time, but they were rushed (take👏🏼 your👏🏼 time👏🏼). In addition, every shot in the first half came with a hearty side of RIM, like what the hell, I felt like the hoops were those carnival hoops designed to not allow baskets! Finally, what I thought was kinda funny was that Jaylen Brown had two perfect rebounds, but they were hit out of bounds by mistake 🤷🏿‍♂️

Again, whatta win and the light has been reignited (hopefully) in the Celtics to turn this road trip around!
