Cristopher Sanchez Continues Dominant Season With Complete Game Shutout

Philadelphia Phillies left-hander Cristopher Sanchez continues dominant start to 2024 season with a complete game shutout victory over the Miami Marlins.

Sanchez allowed only three hits with nine strikeouts and no walks in the 2-0 win last night. He’s now 6-3 on the season with a 2.41 ERA.

Over Sanchez’s last two starts, he’s pitched 16 innings and has not allowed a run, a walk or a extra base hit.

The only other left-hander to accomplish this feat in the last 40 years is Clayton Kershaw.

Sanchez has turned himself into an elite pitcher. He could be a number starter on most MLB teams.

Sanchez, along with Zack Wheeler, Aaron Nola and Ranger Suarez make up the top four starters in the Phillies pitching rotation.

Those four starting pitchers give the Phillies the most dominant rotation in all Major League Baseball.

The Phillies are now a major league best 54-28 on the season and their starting rotation is one of the main reasons.
