By now everyone has learned the tragic news of the passing of NBA legend Kobe Bryant. The early NBA games had to be played on Sunday- it’d pretty much be impossible to cancel.

Players cried on the court and during media interviews. A tough time for players to play. A tough time for coaches to coach. And a tough time for fans to be… fans.

Although Kobe Bryant and his daughter sadly passed away in the crash proved that they’re watching over us! Look at these stats.

Trae Young wore the #8 in memory of his lost buddy as the Hawks played the Wizards.

On top of that he also took 24 shots and made 81% of his free throws! Kobe’s highest scoring game was 81 points.

Also about his free throws? He shot 13 of them and also made 13 shots from the field, so he shot 13-24. Kobe’s daughter Gigi passed away at the age of 13. Trae Young was her favorite player.

Devin Booker shot the ball 24 times tonight in his game against the Memphis Grizzlies. He also scored 36 points. During Trae Young’s game he scored 45…. Add that up… It’s 81!
