Conor McGregor held a late night question and answer session resulting in shots fired at Michael Bisping. McGregor has gone on to delete one of these tweets.

“McGregor is referring to the fact that Bisping was finished by Georges St-Pierre at UFC 217 in 2017 and then returned to the Octagon just a few weeks later and was knocked out cold by Kelvin Gastelum, which turned out to be the last fight of his MMA career,” as explained by bjpenn.com.

Bisping is caught in the crossfire because he went on his podcast and defended Daniel Cormier during his public spat with McGregor. He was quoted saying that Cormier would rip McGregor “limb from limb.”

The beef between McGregor and Cormier started after McGregor mocked the death of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father on Twitter. Khabib’s longtime teammate, Daniel Cormier, took exception to his controversial tweets and said McGregor’s comments directed towards Khabib’s father were a “cry for help.” This comment sent McGregor into a tailspin with the following tweets that have since been deleted.

Cormier responded to McGregor and said, “So McGregor, listen to me bud. Stop worrying about me. Don’t worry about Daniel Cormier. Don’t worry about the things that I’m saying. Don’t worry about how I’m dressing and how I’m looking. Don’t do that. Worry about the dudes that keep beating your ass every time you go into the octagon.”

This is the full breakdown of how Bisping got pulled into the Cormier vs McGregor beef. He’s a casualty of war because he dared to make comments in support of his friend, Daniel Cormier.
