The former youngest MVP ever Derrick Rose, who signed with the Pistons on a 2-year deal is now an asset most teams are trying to acquire. Among those teams, are the Clippers and Knicks who could use his scoring off the bench. Troy Weaver, the Pistons general manager, has made it known the veterans will be on the trade-block this season as Detroit tries to rebuild.
Rose is averaging 15.5 points per game on 44 percent shooting coming off the bench for the Detroit Pistons. He’s been great for the young guys and setting an example on doing whatever’s asked of them, for Rose, it’s coming off the bench and giving the bench a impact scorer. The former MVP now has a chance to go to a winning team and help them achieve their goals.
The NBA trade deadline is Thursday, March 25th. Assuming he is traded before the deadline, keep an eye on where he lands.
