Unfortunately we sadly have to report another death in Major League Baseball. This time, it was a legendary player of the Minnesota Twins.

It was reported yesterday day that Minnesota Twins legend Jim “Mudcat” Grant, the very first black 20-game winner in the American League and an integral part of the Twins first World Series team in 1965, has passed away at the age of 85.

Mudcat pitched for teams such as the Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins, Los Angeles Dodgers, Montreal Expos, St. Louis Cardinals, Oakland Athletics, and Pittsburgh Pirates from 1958 to 1971. He was also a two-time All-Star.

In other MLB news, where has Cleveland Indians legendary power hitter Albert Bell nowadays? Thr former sluggers career will forever be marred after being caught using a corked bat in 1994.

Most recently, Belle was incarcerated in Scottsdale, AZ, and was charged with indecent exposure and a DUI in 2018 at a Spring Training game. However, the charges against him were later dropped. Today, Belle can still be founding talking about baseball, including on ESPN Cleveland’s Really Big Show.
