That’s right. One of the most dominant edge rushers in college football history is on his way to the NFL. If he is anything in the league like he was in college, he’s going to single handedly change the momentum of football games from the defensive side of the ball.

In his final year at Ohio State, he had 16.5 sacks, setting a new school record for most sacks in a season, 6 forced fumbles, and 21 tackles for loss.  He won the Chicago Tribune Silver Football, Ted Hendricks Award, and the Chuck Bednarik Award. When you hear about games where you “Didn’t see a lot” from Chase Young, he was being double teamed damn near every play. Sometimes he was even being triple teamed by the offensive line with the help of either a full back or running back.

Young will be an absolute monster. He will most likely be drafted second overall by the Washington Redskins. This move will reunite him with former college teammates, quarterback Dwayne Haskins, and receiver Terry McLaurin. So a nice little homecoming for Young and the boys, and $100 out of my pocket when I buy his jersey.
