Week 3 of college football is all done. Warm ups are over are officially getting into the real part of the season. So after week 3, who are the winners and losers

Winners

The BIG 10 had a fantastic week this week and should add much anticipation as conference play starts to heat up. Penn St took care of business against Auburn with the amazing support of a white out crowd. Ohio St bounced back with a dominant win. Michigan St went on the road and killed Miami. The Spartans look sneaky good. Michigan continues to look strong with an impressive win.

Fresno St is the team to beat in the mountain west as far as I’m concerned. The Bulldogs had a huge win on the road this weekend against a UCLA team many thought was a top tier PAC 12 team. The only loss for the Dogs this year came in a crazy close game against Oregon week 1. Fresno is a force within the group of 5.

Cincinnati is the group of 5 team with the best chance to make the CFP. To do this they have to obviously run the table. The Bearcats got a huge road win against Indiana this week. With the game against Notre Dame looming overhead, Cinci did what they needed to this week to keep their postseason hopes alive.

Losers

Holy shit did UCF mess up. This is still something I’m not over. The Knights had an opportunity to escape against Louisville with a win. Instead, UCF throws a pick 6 with under a minute left. And then on their hook and later attempt, star QB Dylan Gabriel injuries himself and will likely be out the remainder of the season. A tough week for Gus and UCF fans.

I believe I can officially say Miami is not good. After week 1 and an ass kicking against Bama, there was still hope that maybe the Canes just ran into the biggest bully on the block. Week 2 Miami just gets by against App St, winning by 2. This week, at home, the Canes get smacked around by Michigan St. A team that came into the season with so much hope, Miami will now be lucky to make the Cheez It bowl. Rough.

Uconn could be the worst football team ever. Not like this is shocking for a team that came into the year with a win total over/under of 2.5. But good god. The Huskies have been outscored this season 158-49. Over 4 games! They have not covered a single spread. And this week somehow Army scored 52 points on them. Uconn could be a loser every week for the rest of the season. But wow. This is brutal.
