It’s August and the Dallas Cowboys clown show is at it again, with ring leader Jerry Jones commenting on star WR CeeDee Lamb’s contract extension talks.
Jones and Lamb seem to far apart on a long term extension. Lamb will be a free agent at the end of the season and is currently holding out from Cowboys training camp.
Jones doesn’t seem to be in any rush to sign his star player. “I don’t feel any pressure to get it done,” Jones said of extension talks, as per Jon Machota of The Athletic.
Lamb reacted pretty quickly to the comments of Jones. He posted on X/Twitter this response to Jones “Lol.”
Lamb is in the final year of his rookie contract and is looking to be paid as one of top WR’s in the NFL. He led the league in catches last season with 135.
Through his four-year NFL career, Lamb has caught 395 passes for 5,145 yards and 32 touchdowns in 66 games. He is a three-time Pro Bowler and an All-Pro.
Lamb is an integral part of the Cowboys and in my opinion, he’s their best player. The Dallas offense is not the same without Lamb.
Jones continues to mismanage the over hyped Dallas Cowboys. He is the head clown of the clown show in Dallas.
This team is ready to implode and Jones will be the one detonates it.
