Carmelo Anthony is a future Hall of Famer and he’s also a beloved former member of the New York Knicks.

On Tuesday night, as a visiting member of the Los Angeles Lakers, Anthony made his return to the arena that he once called home for seven seasons and the Knicks crowd at Madison Square Garden gave him a standing ovation.

Anthony came to the Knicks in 2010 from the Denver Nuggets in the infamous trade that changed the culture of the Knicks and made them a perennial contender, but the Knicks never made it past the second round.

Anthony was then traded in the summer of 2017 to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Anthony signed a one-year deal with the Lakers to try and win a championship with LeBron James.
