The Jacksonville Jaguars currently hold the number one overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, along with high amount of valuable draft picks and about 75 million available in cap space to spend. Most people assume Trevor Lawrence is going to land with the team who hasn’t had double digit wins since the Blake Bortles era. But whos gonna fill the coaching vacancy in Jacksonville?

Urban Meyer is planning to meet with Jacksonville ownership today for his first formal interview but we know he isn’t gonna come cheap. The man knows exactly what he is in for when accepting this job. It’s gonna be a very similar sight for Meyer, who is used to developing young players when he was the head coach at Ohio State, but can he succeed in the NFL? The Jacksonville Jaguars have already completed interviews with Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bienemy and Falcon’s interim head coach Raheem Morris, along with interviewing the 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh on Saturday. But the question is who is Shad Khan, the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars gonna want to lead this relatively young roster?

Meyer was seen at the Sugar Bowl when Clemson lost to Ohio State 49-28. Obviously he was there to cheer for the school he coached 2011-2019, but what if he was just checking on his future franchise quarterback? I guess we’ll find out in the coming months.
