Yesterday, Greg Olsen announced on twitter that him and the Panthers organization have mutually agreed to part ways. This comes after the tight ends 12 years with the team.
For their final sending off Cam decided to take Olsen out for one last emotional night on the town at “Prime 112” in Miami.
While leaving Newton couldn’t resist talking to TMZ, comparing Olsen to the likes of Gronk, Ertz, and Travis Kelce. Stating that he was the first tight end with three seasons of 1,000+ receiving yards.
Olsen Didn’t hold back saying how great of a teammate Cam has been throughout his career. Olsen also bragged about the amount of wine they consumed inside saying, “We had more glasses of prisoner (Red Wine) than anybody in the history of Prime 112.”
Olsen is not yet ready to hang them up which leaves his free agency options open. His former coach (Ron Rivera) Is the new Head Coach in Washington which would be a reunion of the two. Many have wondered if Buffalo will throw their hat in the ring we their tight end needs; as well as many former panthers personnel in Buffalo with McDermott.
