Oh boy.

In two separate articles on social media, it is appears that there will be a big spike in traffic delays and bumper-to-bumper traffic throughout the upcoming holiday weekend.

Such as a picture shown by WLUC TV6’s website and on a live video by UP North Live on Facebook, it appears that there will be a lot of traffic coming to the Mackinac Bridge and Upper Peninsula areas for the 4th of July holiday.

The picture above and news struck some major concern from Upper Peninsula residents since the country is currently in the middle of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Down below are some of the residents’ reactions from the news.

Especially in some states, including Michigan, where a new surge of cases of the virus was reported. Most of the newer cases were linked to a bar/restaurant in downstate in East Lansing.

All we can say is brace yourselves, Yoopers! Hopefully everyone stays safe this holiday weekend especially with COVID-19 still around.

Also, here’s a remainder to be smart out there when it comes to celebrating the United States of America’s Independence.
