It has been no secret that the young defensive back has been going through some growing pains in his career thus far, however leaving Seattle may actually be what he needs to restart his career.

This move doesn’t really make the most sense when you are talking about the Seahawks. This is a team who’s defense ranks in the bottom percentile against the league. With the team losing it’s QB for a significant amount of time this may be the team just throwing their hands up and hoping for a better draft position. Lets not forget that this team didn’t have a 2021 1st round pick, because they wanted to tighten up their defense by getting “Blitz Boy” Jamal Adams. The funniest part about them depleting their draft potential is that the defense still sucks, Adams has as many interceptions as Ryan Shazier (who can’t walk) since entering the league in 2017.

Maybe getting rid of their corner with the most potential and upside will benefit them, maybe this will give the team a new spark by getting rid of their disgruntled players. I don’t know, but this all seems to be like a bad idea.

Flowers is a big physical corner that really seemed to be the perfect fit for this Seahawk squad. I could honestly see him ending up somewhere like Tampa Bay on a good price due to their lack of healthy secondary members. I haven’t heard anything in the rumor mill about it, but like a good hound dog, I’ll keep my nose close to the ground and hopefully break some news for you guys.
