BREAKING: R&B Artist R. Kelly Found Guilty Of Racketeering And Faces Up To 20 Years In Prison

Jurors in R&B superstar R. Kelly’s sex trafficking trial in New York have stated they have reached a verdict this afternoon. The jurors have found R. Kelly guilty of racketeering in a sex trafficking case and could possibly see up to 20 years in prison.

Deliberations first began this past Friday at federal court in Brooklyn. The panel consisted of seven men and five women. Today began with the jurors requesting the judge to provide transcripts of testimony by two former Kelly employees and for a legal clarification.

Kelly is best known for his 1996 hit “I Believe I Can Fly.” Prior to the start of the case be pleaded not guilty to racketeering charges accusing him of sexually abusing women, girls and boys for twenty years.
