Breaking: First Positive COVID-19 Case In Upper Peninsula’s Baraga County (Yooper News)

According to Western Upper Peninsula Heath Department – Baraga, County has it’s first confirmed the first positive COVID-19 case.

“We will be monitoring any individuals who may have had direct, personal contact with the identified case, such as household contacts.” – Kate Beer, Heath Officer.

Marquette, Michigan – 45 cases, 8 deaths

Delta, Co – 13 cases, 2 deaths

Gogebic, Co – 4 cases, 1 death

Dickenson, Co – 3 cases, 1 death

Mackinac, Co – 6 cases

Menominee – 5 cases

Schoolcraft, Co – 3 cases

Chippewa, Co – 2 cases

Houghton, Co – 2 cases

Luce, Co – 1 Case

Baraga, Co – 1 Case
