After going six innings strong on Opening Day against the Seattle Mariners, Houston Astros’ Justin Verlander is now out for the season with an elbow injury. Verlander gave up two runs on three hits, striking out seven.

This is a huge blow for the Houston Astros this season and for fans of baseball. I wish Verlander the best and hope he doesn’t require Tommy John Surgery.
