Bob Stoops Expected to be Named Head Coach at Florida State Soon

Former Oklahoma Sooners Football Coach Bob Stoops is expected to become the next head football coach at Florida State University as soon as this week.

This news comes after FSU fired Willie Taggert from the position this week after only a year and a half.

Stoops is one of the most successful coaches in NCAA history, having coached at Oklahoma from 1999-2016, winning 190 games, including the 2000 national championship against the Florida State Seminoles.

Stoops was actually set to be the head coach and general manager of the Dallas Renegades of the XFL, a position he will obviously give up if and when he is announced as Florida State’s head coach.
