Star wide receiver Kenny Golladay was not hit with the franchise tag by the Detroit Lions and he’s been in contact with two NFL teams about possibly completing a deal. It’s been reported Golladay declined a deal from the Detroit Lion’s former general manager Bob Quinn for an average pay of 18 million dollars per year. It’s not known how much he’s being offered currently but it is surprising he still is in negotiations when the top tier free agents are already signed.
Kenny Golladay will be visiting the New York Giants head coach Joe Judge in person to get to know the city and team more on a personal level before negotiations take place. The interest is mutual between Golladay and New York.
Golladay wants to be paid and it’s been reported the Cincinati Bengals offered him a 1-year prove it type deal. At the age of 27, Golladay wants a longer deal and it’s possible the Giants can offer him that.
