Barstool Sports Hires Kirk Minihane | @kirkmin @stoolpresidente @EKANardini

According to a post by Dave Portnoy the founder of Barstool Sports the company has recently hired Kirk Minihane.
This comes after Minihane left WEEI’s morning show and announced that he is no longer an employee at Entercom.
“Maybe I’ll go to an established national brand . . . Viva,’’ he said, using a word associated with Barstool Sports, an oft-rumored destination for him when his WEEI and Entercom relationships began to erode.
“I am here to announce . . . everything was signed,’’ Minihane said on a Periscope video. “And I’m no longer an employee of Entercom. I am gone. It is over. The 10-year-run, or whatever, is over.’’
This is another huge hire for Barstool.

This move is one that Barstool fans have been waiting for, Minihane is known for being bold, loud, and good at making enemies – sounds like Portnoy.
And just what everyone loves.
I’d say this is a slightly bigger platform than @Radiodotcom Sports. What a coup https://t.co/gPTRJvtI09

More info coming tomorrow. This is a really good thing. This is the exact opposite of the hellhole I just left – these people actually want you to be, you know, you. It’s odd to be treated like a human being. Can’t wait to get started. https://t.co/VMpjGhpdkr
