The three kings of media are bickering. Barstool Sports founder, Dave Portnoy, came to the defense of podcast juggernaut Joe Rogan after Howard Stern publicly criticized Rogan for not getting the COVID-19 vaccination.

Rogan famously contracted COVID-19 last month and was prescribed the controversial drug ivermectin by his doctor.

Clip below of Stern’s words on Rogan:

Stern continued on with his vaccination rant, “When are we gonna stop putting up with the idiots in this country and just say it’s mandatory to get vaccinated? Fuck them. Fuck their freedom. I want my freedom to live. I want to get out of the house already. I want to go next door and play chess. I want to go take some pictures. This is bullshit…if you have a heart attack or any kind of problem, you can’t even get into the ER and I’m really of a mind to say, ‘Look, if you didn’t get vaccinated and you got COVID, you don’t get into a hospital.”

Portnoy has changed the social media game in his own right and is more than qualified to give his opinion on the landscape of digital media. Portnoy discussed the melee on his podcast, The Dave Portnoy Show, and called Stern “hypocritical” for changing his tune from his earlier days when he was wild, crazy, and unfiltered.

“He [Stern] truly revolutionized everything. From a side, he seems like he’s sorta become hypocritical. Like he seems like somebody who slung it and would do anything, and he’s quick now to like wag his finger at you…he seems like he would almost be wagging his finger at his younger self.”

Portnoy and his cohost Eddie went on to discuss which podcast host was more influential – Rogan or Stern. Both went on to agree that Rogan is at the “height of his powers” and Stern “is nowhere near.” Stern has yet to respond to Portnoy’s comments.
