Okay, just so you don’t read that title and think this has anything to do with Kaepernick kneeling it doesn’t, I actually believe players should kneel, here are my 10 reasons why I believe they should be allowed to kneel. According to Jameous Mooney the AAF has reached out to Tim Tebow and Colin Kaepernick. And the number Kaepernick wants is pretty ridiculous.

The Alliance of American Football League started this past week and ratings were higher than NBA on ABC, so tell me what Americans want. FOOTBALL. Now on the other hand what does Americans want? Colin Kaepernick? Eh. Maybe. But the AAF reached out to Kaepernick, and his money number?

$20,000,000.

Kaepernick would have provided a boost to the league, but his contract demand doesn’t fit with the financial structure of the league. All players get the same three-year, non-guaranteed contracts worth $250,000.

Those players also have performance bonuses and off the field bonuses. But $20MILL? That’s just about how much Tom Brady makes. Kaepernick, you’re not worth that. C’mon now. He has also not played since 2016 and has a collusion grievance against the NFL.

A NEW LEAGUE – Yes, there are some big investors and big brains behind the AAF, but maybe Vince McMahon can land Colin Kapernick seeing he is bringing back the XFL.

The AAF also talked to Tebow, who declined in order to continue playing baseball in the New York Mets organization.
