Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm has been off to a torrid start this season. His 42 RBIs lead all of Major League Baseball.
Bohm has been one of big reasons that the Phillies have a 34-14 record to start the 2024 season.
The 27 year old Bohm also leads MLB with 18 doubles. He has been the Phillies most consistent hitter through the first 48 games.
For the season, Bohm has 5 home runs with 42 RBIs and a .330 batting average in 47 games. He has manned the clean-up spot in the Phillies batting order, with star Bryce Harper hitting in front of him.
Bohm has improved as a defensive player and is now one the better fielder’s at his position.
Bohm was a former first pound pick by the Phillies in his fifth season and becoming a star player. He definitely deserves to be the NL’s starting third baseman in this year’s All-Star game.
