AEW’s next PPV event, is tonight. Revolution emanates from The Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. It’s a stacked card with several high-profile matches.

Let’s get into the preview…

  • AEW World Championship Match – Chris Jericho (C) vs Jon Moxley

Preview – This is the biggest match in AEW history & pits “Le Champion”, Chris Jericho against Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. This rivalry has been an all-timer with it’s tremendous build up to this prestigious, championship match. I cannot wait for these 2 to lock up in the ring & have a match of the year contender. Will “Le Champion” continue his dominance over All Elite Wrestling or will there be a new king of the mountain in the company?

  • Singles Match – MJF (with Wardlow) vs Cody (with Arn Anderson)

Preview – In what has become the most personal rivalry in AEW history, MJF turned his back on his former mentor & best-friend, Cody during Cody’s AEW World Championship match against Chris Jericho. MJF threw in the towel as Cody was getting badly beaten up by Jericho which effectively ended the match & ensured that Cody will never get another World Championship match since that was the stipulation if Cody lost. Minutes after, Cody forgave MJF as MJF said he was just looking out for his best-friend…as Cody went to hug MJF, MJF struck him with a low-blow & there began the nastiest feud in the company’s history. Cody called out MJF for a match which MJF declined unless Cody would adhere to his 3 stipulations which included Cody being whipped by a belt 10 times, not touching him until AEW Revolution & he would have to face Wardlow in a Steel Cage match. 3 weeks ago, MJF whacked Cody with a belt 10 times in middle of the ring on AEW Dynamite…then 2 weeks ago, Cody defeated Wardlow in a Steel Cage match after hitting Wardlow with a moonsault off the top of the structure & this week on Dynamite, Cody didn’t put a single hand on MJF which made this match official for Revolution. Will Cody finally get the revenge on the man he used to call his best-friend or will MJF get the better of his former mentor? The band “Downstait” will hold a live performance of Cody’s entrance music as he makes his way down to the ring for the match.

  • AEW Tag-Team Championship Match – Kenny Omega & Hangman Page (C) vs The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson)

Preview – Kenny Omega & Hangman Page captures the AEW Tag-Team titles from So Cal Uncensored, last month & have been running roughshod over the tag-team division ever since. Page has been looking over his shoulder as he doesn’t completely trust his tag-team partner & tensions will be at an all-time high, tomorrow night as “The Elite” will all battle it out to see who the best tag-team in AEW truly is.

  • AEW Women’s Championship – Nyla Rose (C) vs Kris Statlander

Preview – Nyla Rose defeated Riho for the AEW Women’s Championship 2 weeks ago on AEW Dynamite & is poised to dominate the Women’s division for the foreseeable future. However, if there is someone who can nearly match the size & power of Rose, it’s Kris Statlander who’s on the hottest streak of any female on the roster. Will Nyla Rose continue her reign or will Statlander pull-off the upset & make Nyla’s reign short-lived?

  • Singles Match – Darby Allin vs Sammy Guevara

Preview – For weeks these 2 have been feuding…with Guevara drilling Darby with Darby’s skateboard in the throat, sidelining Darby for weeks. A couple of weeks ago, Darby returned to re-ignite this feud. It should be a great match with many wild spots that’ll have the fans going crazy.

  • Singles Match – Jake Hager vs Dustin Rhodes

Preview – This feud is largely because of the Jericho-Cody feud, months ago. Hager is The Inner Circle’s “goon” & Dustin is Cody’s big brother which naturally puts these two behemoths together which will reach a boiling point, Saturday night. It’ll be interesting to see how Hager goes in the ring, considering we haven’t seen him compete in a Pro Wrestling match in a couple of years.

  • Singles Match – PAC vs Orange Cassidy

Preview – This is a newly minted feud that is purely for the fans. Orange Cassidy can absolutely WORK in the ring…a fact that many fans don’t know & apparently, he will “try”, Saturday night, which may mean we get to see his full wrestling arsenal for the first time on national television & no better opponent to showcase that against then one of the best wrestlers on the planet, in PAC. This should be a fun one.

  • Tag-Team Match – So Cal Uncensored (Scorpio Sky & Kazarian) vs The Dark Order (Stu Grayson & Evil Uno) *Match will air on the Kickoff Show*

Preview – These two teams met during AEW’s tag-team tournament, months ago to determine the inaugural AEW Tag-Team Champions…a match in which So Cal Uncensored was victorious en route to them winning the tag-team titles before dropping them, last month on The Jericho Cruise, to the current champions, Kenny Omega & Adam Page. The Dark Order promises to make Christopher Daniels “obsolete”…& more importantly, will we finally find out the identity of The Dark Order’s “Exalted One”?
