Future Hall of Fame Running back Adrian Peterson and the Detroit Lions are in the spirit for giving back in this upcoming holiday season.

In a screenshot image captured online on social media, it is announced that Peterson, his wife, Ashley, and the Lions are teaming up to donate meals for each touchdown the team or player scoring this upcoming November.

This initiative is as part for the Peterson Family Foundation and the Athletes’ Corner Against Hunger campaign.

As you can see in the picture above, the deal on the post goes as follows: if either of Lions score a touchdown, the team will donate 1,000 meals to Detroit families in need. However if Peterson himself scores a touchdown, he’ll double the donation.

Knowing how the offense scores touchdown in a lot of games, we can expect a good amount of donated meals to those families in need.

Just a nice gesture from Petersons and the Lions to do this for all involved.
