Reliver Adam Warren pitched for the Yankees from 2012 to 2015 until he was dealt to the Cubs for Starlin Castro. In 2016, he was dealt back to NY in the deal that sent Aroldis Chapman to the Northsiders. The Yankees traded him to the Mariners in 2018, and he pitched for the Padres in 2019. He underwent Tommy John surgery and re-signed with the Yankees to rehab the injury. He did not pitch in 2020.

The Yankees have now signed him again, marking the fourth time he’s joined the organization. It is a minor league deal as he embarks on his road back to MLB at 33 years of age. He will reportedly be ready for spring training.

Over eight MLB seasons, Warren has a 3.53 ERA in 492 innings of work. He has a 30-24 record to go along with 428 Ks.
