The Tennessee Titans have announced that Mason Rudolph is replacing Will Levis as starting QB for Week 7 against the Buffalo Bills, as per Paul Kuharsky.
The Titans have a 1-4 record through five games this season and Levis is dealing with a shoulder injury.
Levis has struggled so far this season and thrown seven interceptions, which leads the league. He has thrown for 699 yards and five touchdowns in 5 games.
Rudolph came in for Levis after he was injured against the Miami Dolphins. In that game, he completed nine of his 17 pass attempts for 85 yards. The Titans won the game by a final score of 31-12.
It is not clear, whether this is a benching or that Levis could simply be sitting out of this game due to legitimate concerns about his shoulder.
It does give Rudolph the opportunity to start and prove himself against a good Bills team and if he plays well the Titans difficult decision to make at quarterback for Week 8.
