I Am Sick Of Hearing “If Jared Goff Gets Injured The Lions Are Done” Here Is How Detroit Can Fix That Quickly
It seems like everyone is losing there minds about the Detroit Lions backup quarterback spot after Nate Sudfeld sucked it up aka Nate Bumfeld during week one of the preseason and then Hendon Hooker getting a brain injury after he had a solid start… People keep saying that if Jared Goff get injured then the Lions are done. I just want to remind everyone that THAT IS MAJORITY OF NFL TEAMS!
But the Lions can fix that very quickly. Someone with a lot of NFL experience, would be fine being the backup, is currently a free agent… YEP RYAN TANNEHILL!
Ryan Tannehill has had an impressive NFL career, marked by resilience and success. Drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 2012, he quickly became their starting quarterback, throwing for over 20,000 yards and 123 touchdowns in six seasons. Despite setting franchise records, injuries, including a torn ACL, affected his time in Miami, leading to his trade to the Tennessee Titans in 2019.
Tannehill’s move to Tennessee was a turning point. Initially a backup, he took over as the starter and led the Titans to the AFC Championship Game in 2019, earning the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award. Since then, he’s been one of the league’s most efficient quarterbacks, with over 30,000 career passing yards and more than 200 touchdowns. His strong performance and leadership have been crucial to the Titans’ success.
Tannehill’s career showcases his adaptability and determination, making him a key player in the NFL. As he continues to lead the Titans, his legacy as a dependable and effective quarterback only grows stronger.
Brad Holmes better be on the phone figuring this out.
