Eagles To Play Starters Tonight

Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Nick Sirianni announced that he plans to play their starters for a series in tonight’s preseason opener at the Baltimore Ravens, as per Jeff McLane of The Inquirer.

Sirianni generally does not play the starters during the preseason. Eagles players have said that there has been a change in physicality and toughness during the first two weeks of training camp.

Playing the starters in the preseason opener is another change that Sirianni has made this year.

This change has stemmed from the Eagles last season collapse, which saw them lose six of their final seven games.

The new Eagles defensive coordinator, Vic Fangio, said that the team’s lack of hard practice sessions was something that he wanted to change on his side of the football.
