Philadelphia Eagles star WR DeVonta Smith has had a stellar NFL career so far. He along with A.J. Brown give the Eagles the best WR duo in football.
The 25 year-old Smith is entering his fourth season in the NFL. He was the 10th overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft by the Eagles, after winning the Heisman Trophy.
Smith is coming off back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons. He has 240 catches for 3,178 yards and 19 touchdowns in his career. Smith has also made numerous highlight reel plays in his 3 year career.
By all accounts, Smith has been the most impressive player in training camp on an Eagles team that is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball.
According to The Athletic’s Brooks Kubena, Smith has caught several deep passes from QB Jalen Hurts through six practices and has shown an explosivity the Eagles offense.
Brown has said that he expects Smith to ‘make another jump’ this year, given that ‘nobody has been able to cover DeVonta all camp.'”
The Eagles signed Smith to a three-year contract extension, after exercising his fifth-year option for the 2025 NFL season back in April.
. With the addition of superstar RB Saquon Barkley through free agency and the hiring of Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore, look for the Eagles offense to light up scoreboards this season.
