A scary scene took place up in Seattle’s Lumen Field in the first half after an ambulance was brought out for a suspected severe injury.

In a video by user Alex (Highlight Heaven on YouTube) on Twitter, San Francisco 49ers running back Trenton Cannon sustained a head/neck injury as he ran into the knee/leg of his own teammate, Talanoa Hufanga (#29), on the opening kickoff.

You can see in the video above that Cannon’s head and helmet bent backwards and into the side as ran into Hufanga’s leg, attempting to tackle Seattle Seahawks running back and kick returner DJ Dallas. Then just after the injury, an ambulance would be brought on to the field so Cannon can taken in via stretcher.

It was a worrisome sight for everyone up at Seattle, as fans and the teams (including Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson) checking in on Cannon hoping he is okay.

And we at PSE hope that Cannon is okay too. It didn’t look good either on video or photos.
