The fifth seed Indiana Pacers and sixth seed Detroit Pistons battle each other tonight (Monday) and on Wednesday. These two games couldn’t come at a more of a perfect time for Detroit. But these games are must wins for Detroit as the bottom of the Eastern Conference is starting to get moved around and I expect this game to be a blood bath. I’m serious. These next two games are going to get chippy. They always do between these two teams.

The Pacers are 3-7 in the last 10 games and have lost three in a row. The Pistons on the other hand are 5-5 in the last 10 and have won two in a row, and on top of that Detroit has been playing there best basketball over the last month and a half. But these next two games are MUST wins for Detroit if they want to make the playoffs.

The Pistons have been led by star center Andre Drummond who is averaging 17.3 points, 15.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.7 blocks. And I believe nine blocks in the last two games. And not’s it, All-Star forward Blake Griffin has been on fire, he has averaged 24.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game.

In order to slow down the duo of Drummond and Griffin Indiana will need to get back to being one of the top defenses in the league, which they haven’t as of late.

The last time the two teams matched up the Pistons had the hot hand from deep, making 18 3-pointers on their way to a 113-109 win.

Andre Drummond led all scorers with 26 points on 12-of-21 shooting and 16 rebounds, nine of them coming on the offensive glass.

I expect blood. Honestly. I expect elbows. Could we see a Malice at the Palace Part 2?

I expect to be sitting in my chair yelling “DEEEEEEEEETTTTTRRRROOOOIIITTT BAAASSSSKKKEETTTBBBAAAALLLLL” LEEETTSSS GOO!!! Most importantly I expect two BIG wins.

I more importantly expect you to hit that like button and that follow button below…
