Tony Romo Will Call This Years Super Bowl

Tony Romo is headed to the Super Bowl! And I never thought I’d hear that. The former four time Pro-Bowl Dallas Cowboys QB retired after the 2016 season and joined CBS as a broadcaster. Where he has shined.

After taking the seat of Phil Simms, Romo started predicting plays before they played out on the field. And some people really enjoyed it, and some people got annoyed knowing what was going to happen ahead of time. And for those people who don’t enjoy it, that sucks, because he is one of my favorite announcers.

Romo was also nominated for an Emmy along with being named Sports Illustrated’s 2017 Media Person of the Year.

Romo’s success has landed him the job of calling the biggest sporting event in of the year, the Super Bowl. He will be along side his partner Jim Nantz.

Romo will call Super Bowl LIII from Atlanta for CBS on Feb. 4, 2018.
