The Seahawks Will Make it to the Super Bowl
- Updated: January 2, 2013
Disclaimer: First, I’d like to start out by saying I am by no means a Seahawks fan. I am actually a fan of their NFC West rivals, the St. Louis Rams, so trust me there is no bias in the writing of this article.
The Seahawks have been hot lately behind their rookie quarterback, Russell Wilson, and Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch. They have piled up points as of late, putting up a striking 170 points in the last 4 weeks, while their competition has only notched 43 points. Many may argue that they mostly win at home with the 12th man by their side. This may be true, but I think their defense will be a huge advantage. The trip to the Super Bowl will not be easy but it is more than possible. The Seahawks defense has held their opponents to a league best 15.3 points per game and is tied for third in total tackles while ranking an impressive third in rushing on the offensive side. The Redskins have been impressive but their offensive is comparable to the Seahawks, but their defense is not nearly as impressive. All the opponents in the NFC that are in line for the Seahawks are beatable and the Seahawks have a good shot to make a run to the Super Bowl.
