Teams Showing Interest In DeAndre Jordan

Trade rumors are a frequent topic within sports. Whether they are true or not, they make a good topic for those who watch sports.

DeAndre Jordan has proven to others in the NBA that he can be a great inside force at the Center position.

As of now, Jordan is one of the top stories in the trade world.

DeAndre was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers with the 5th pick in the second round of the 2008 NBA Draft. Since then, Jordan has played 10 seasons in Los Angeles.

Things might change real fast for Jordan as four teams have shown interest in trading for him. Those teams include the Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Even though these are four different teams, one has showed “more interest” than the others.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been reported to make a “concerted push” to get Jordan. After trading for Point Guard Eric Bledsoe earlier this season, the addition of Jordan would really help the Bucks.

With having a star Point-Forward in Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jordan would add even more of an inside force for the Bucks. But… to get Jordan, the Bucks would have to offer up either, John Henson, Malcom Brogdan, or Khrus Middleton, who have played a big part on this young Milwaukee squad.

In his Career, Jordan has averaged around 9.2 points and 10.2 rebounds for game. Basically being a walking Double-Double, it isn’t a surprise that these teams show so much interest.

But… it is not Jordan’s offense that makes him so highly praised as a player. Being a two-time NBA All Defense team member, Jordan’s inside presence on defense is a nightmare for any matchup.

It is going to be interesting to see where Jordan ends up.
