This may be the first playoff game in which punting, that’s right, Punting¬†had a legitimate stake in a teams loss. The Carolina Panthers worked with a short field all day on offense. The defense played equally well allowing only 78 total yards from the Cardinals offense.

Cam Newton threw 2 scores and running back DeAngelo Williams had a 13 yard scamper for a touchdown. Ryan Lindley had 51 yards passing and 2 interceptions in a historically horrific game on the offensive side of the ball.

Carolina advances to the divisional round where they will either play the Dallas Cowboys.
